New Delhi, Jan 10: A four-member delegation from the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) of
Nepal on Wednesday visited the Indian NHRC here.
According to a statement of the NHRC here, the four-member
delegation was led by the Commission's Chairperson Justice Anup Raj Sharma
including Commissioner Mohna Ansari. They met Justice HL Dattu, Chairperson;
Ambuj Sharma, Secretary General and senior officers.
"The Nepal delegation extended an invitation to Justice Dattu to participate in the South Asia Regional Conference being organised by it in Kathmandu from 9th -11th April, 2018 to facilitate a regional dialogue on identifying challenges in realising human rights in South Asia. The Conference aims at sharing good practices in the promotion and protection of human rights," it stated.
The NHRC said the Nepal delegation also requested to extend all possible support to it in organising this International Conference. UNI
