JAMMU, JANUARY 16 – Minister for Health & Medical Education Bali Bhagat
today informed the Legislative Council that government has released Rs 3 crore
for up-gradation of NTPHC Pahalgam.
He said that the funds have been provided under National Health Mission
(NHM) but work on the project has not been taken up due to
imposition of ban on construction work in the area.
The Minister was replying to a question of legislator Sofi Yousuf.
Meanwhile, the Minister informed that NTPHC Kullar is
entitled to one post of doctor and the vacancy would be filled after recruitment against the already advertised posts was completed. He however said that one doctor engaged under NHM has been posted at
NTPHC Kullar.
The Minister said that the proposal for up-gradation of PHC Srigufwara
is under examination of the government.
