Sensex up by 154 pts

Mumbai, Jan 19: Extending gain, the BSE sensex on Friday rallied by 154.56 points to 35,414.85 in opening trade on strong global cues.

The Nifty of National Stocks Exchange (NSE) too advanced by 35.35 points to 10,852.35.
The sensex registered intra day high and low at 35,434.08 and 35,221.16 respectvely.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 10,857.70 and 10,793.90 respectively. 
Brisk buying in FMCG, Finance, Health Care, Industrials and Bankex stocks boosted the sentiments.
Improved corporate earning shave helped share markets rally. 
The gainers were Adani Ports bby 3.20 pc to R 427.60, SBIN by 1.57 pc to Rs 307.50, Dr Reddy's Lab by 1.39 pc to Rs 2499.85 and Yes Bank by 1.13 pc to Rs 344.10.
The losers were Wipro by 0.94 pc to Rs 323, Infosys by 0.93 pc to Rs 1142 and Hero MotoCorp by 0.53 pc to Rs 3573.20. UNI
