Srinagar, Feb 28: Jammu and Kashmir police arrested a bootlegger and seized about 60 bottles of illicit liquor in the city outskirts.
A police spokesperson said that acting on specific information, a police party intercepted a vehicle at Pantha Chowk in Srinagar outskirts.
During checking, he said police recovered 60 bottles of illicit liquor from the vehicle. “The driver of the vehicle, identified as Mohammad Syed Shah, was immediately taken into custody. 
He said the supply was meant to be distributed among the youth of South Kashmir. “Police have registered a case and initiated investigation to nab other people involved in the crime,” he added. UNI
