Srinagar, Feb 28: Jammu and Kashmir arrested four gamblers and recovered stake money from them in
the summer capital, Srinagar.
A police spokesperson said that following specific information, police raided a
gambling site at Noorbagh in Srinagar.During the raid, he said police caught four people while gambling. “All the accused, identified as Mehraj-ud-Din, Shabir Ahmad Kaloo and Tariq Ahmad Sofi,” were taken into custody,” he said.
“Stake money of Rs 8,340 and playing cards were recovered from the gambling spot,” he said, adding police have registered a case in the incident. UNI
