Kathmandu, Feb 16: Nepali Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has extended best wishes to all people from
the Sherpa community living in the country and abroad on the occasion of Gyalbo
Lhosar.
PM Oli thanked the Sherpa community for their
role in making Nepal known in international arena adding that national unity
rests on the fact that Nepal is a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and
multi-lingual nation.
Saying that the transitional period ended with the conduction recently held Federal Parliament and National Assembly elections PM Oli said, “The nation got its new Prime Minister through the recently concluded elections. I would like to assure you that the government will also get its full shape very soon.”
Giving a message of best wishes on the occasion of Gyalbo Lhosar today, PM Oli said the first priority of the government is making Nepali happy and country prosperous.
"As Nepal is rich in natural resources, the government will work to create employment with the maximum use of resources and lead the country towards development. In the priority of the government, I believe, the Sherpa community will support," the PM said in the message.
PM Oli also reiterated the commitment for country, peace, democracy and the guarantee of the fundamental rights of the people. UNI
