New Delhi, Feb 15: Reacting to reports of Nirav Modi, the chief accused in the Rs 11500 crore PNB
scam, having fled the country, Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday
alleged connivance of the NDA government in the matter.
In a post on social media, Rahul alleged that Nirav Modi, who
was part of the business delegation accompanying the PM to Davos, used his
clout with Prime Minister Narendra Midi to loot the bank of Rs 11500 cr and
escape from the country.
Taking a swipe at the Modi government on the scam, Rahul said, 'Guide to Looting India by Nirav MODI
1. Hug PM Modi
2. Be seen with him in DAVOS
Use that clout to:
A. Steal 12,000Cr
B. Slip out of the country like Mallya, while the Govt looks the other way. '
The CBI has received a complaint from the PNB against Nirav Modi in connection with the Rs 11500 cr scam, which the Congress has described as the 'biggest bank loot scam ' of post independence India. UNI
