Mumbai, Feb 16: The BSE sensex gained further by 114 points to open at 34,411 point 24 on the last trading of the week on positive global cues.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too rose by 51 points to 10,596.20 in early trade.
The sectoral indices that increased were IT, Telecom and Consumer Durable while Capital Goods, Finance and FMCG stocks were declined that capped from further gain, broker said.
The sensex registered intra day high and low at 34,508.24 and 34,284.79 respectively.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 10,612.90 and 10,540.25 respectively. 
The gainer were TCS by 1.96 pc to Rs 2982.95, Dr Reddy's Lab by 1.71 pc to Rs 2232, Infosys by 1.61 pc to Rs 1132.05 and Kotal Bank by 1.49 pc to Rs 1056.40.
The losers were Yes Bank by 1.81 pc to Rs 314.15, Sun Pharma by 1.26 pc to Rs 570, SBIN by 1.17 pc to rs 275.60 and Maruti Suzuki by 1.02 oc to Rs 8928.65. UNI
