Nainital, Mar 13: At least 11 people were killed and 13 others injured, when a bus they were
travelling in plunged into a gorge in Almora district of Uttarakhand on
Tuesday.
The injured were rushed to Ramnagar hospital,
where condition of few was stated to be critical. The bus , en route to
Ramnagar from Bhatraunjkhan, plunged into the gorge in Totam, police said.
Uttarakhand Parivartan Party vice-president Prabhat Dhyani, who was present at the hospital, said 11 injured were rushed to the facility.
SDRF, locals and police pulled out the injured from the gorge.
Top police official Pooran Singh Rawat and Almora's Superintendent rushed to the spot.
