Md Shami's wife Hasin Jahan appeared in court to give her statement in camera against her cricketer husband

Kolkata, Mar 19: Hasin Jahan, wife of India's lead pacer Mohammed Shami, today appeared before a local court here to give her statement in camera against her cricketer husband, a day after the city police began investigation against the bowler, accused of torturing, intimidation,Infidelity, domestic violence and even taking money from unknown sources in Dubai.Meanwhile, a Pakistani girl named, Alishba, appeared in a private television channel claimed that the Indian bower was innocent and there had been no transaction of money. She even claimed in that she was ready to come where-ever she need for rescue of Md Shami.Hasin Jahan in a recent media conference here claimed that Md Shami might have involved in match-fixing as he went Dubai to receive money from Alishba and the amount was delivered to him by a man called Mohammad Bhai, who stays in the United Kingdom.The city police began investigation and sought information from the BCCI on tour scheduled for the cricketers, especially a visit to Dubai.

The Kolkata police sleuths also questioned some family members of the cricketer's ancestral home at Amroha in UP to ascertain specifically whether any attempt was made to rape Hasin Jahan there. Hasin Jahan accused the cricketer of forcing her for such an act by one of her brother in laws in UP.Hasin Jahan also sought an appointment with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to meet and tell her the harrowing experiences meted out by her during stay with the cricketer.
Hasin Jahan, accompanied by her lawyers, today arrived at the Alipur Court to record her statement before a judicial magistrate as per directive by the court.It is expected that the statement will be recorded in the Room No. 3 of magistrate Neha Sharma shortly. UNI
