New Delhi, Mar 6: In view of the statue of Vladimir Lenin being damaged in Belonia town of
Tripura and sporadic violence in the state, the Union Home Minister Rajnath
Singh on Tuesday spoke to the Governor and Director General of Police (DGP) of
the state regarding the law and order situation there.
Home Minister asked the state DGP to check the violence and
maintain thelaw and order.
Several incidents of vandalism have been reported from the state.
