Mumbai, Mar 21: The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday rallied by 347
point 52 points to 33,344.28 in opening trade as brisk buying was witnessed
across the board.
Nifty of National Stocks Exchange (NSE) too gained by 98.05 points to 10,222.40.
The sensex registered intra day high and low at 33,341.74 and 33,090.82 respectvely.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 10,225.45 and 10,173.20 respectively.
The sectoral such as FMCG, Health Care, Auto, and Tecknology kept the sensex strong in early trade.
The gainers were Bharti Airtel by 3.52 pc to Rs 414.25, NTPC by 2.50 pc to Rs 170.25, Yes Bank by 1.95 pc to Rs 307.95 and SBIN by 1.85 pc to Rs 253.85.
The losers were HeroMoto Corp by 0.77 pc to Rs 3486.35, Tata Steel by 0.13 pc to Rs 592.50 and Bajaj Auto by 0.06 pc to Rs 287.70. UNI
