Amaravati, Mar 17: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that within hours of
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) snapping ties with BJP-led NDA at the Centre, several
parties came forward and extended their support to the 'No Confidence' motion,
moved by it in the Lok Sabha.
The Chief Minister held a teleconference with
party MPs, Strategic Committee members and senior leaders here on
Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Naidu said that many parties had trusted TDP at the National level and due to it the parties extended their support.
He asked the six members MP team of TDP to remain in the National Capital for the next two days and muster support of all parties by speaking with their leaders.
The Chief Minister said that the TDP had taken a precise decision at the right time. The people are observing the acts of BJP and they would teach them a lesson, he predicted.
Mr Naidu said that the alleged Accused two in several corruption cases Vijay Sai Reddy of Opposition YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) is roaming around the PMO to get rid of cases. No party in the country trusted the No-Confidence motion of YSRCP as the leaders understood that they were playing dramas.
Claiming that the country is looking towards the TDP and him, he said that there are some forces which is trying to weaken him. He asked film actor turned politician and Jana Sena Party Pawan Kalyan why he is criticising him instead of questioning the Centre for not granting Special Category Status (SCS). “I do not want politics but I want justice to AP,” he said.
