TDP pulls out of NDA; Mamata welcomes move

Kolkata, Mar 16: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today welcomed the Telugu Desam Party (TDP)'s decision to pull out of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). 

The party has also brought a No-Confidence Motion against the Centre in the Lok Sabha.
The Chief Minister tweeted in support of the TDP’s decision, saying, ' I welcome the TDP’s decision to leave the NDA. The current situation warrants such action to save the country from disaster. I appeal to all political parties in the Opposition to work closely together against atrocities, economic calamity and political instability. ' UNI
