Bengaluru, Apr 7: Senior BJP leader and Union Minister H N Ananth Kumar has held Congress
responsible for end of Budget Session without taking up any business during its
23 days of sitting.
“Congress could not digest Prime Minister Narendra Modi
gaining popularity day by day and hence behaving without giving respect to the
democracy. Congress has not culture,” he told newsmen here on Saturday.
Stating that the Parliament Sessions were held smoothly for two years, Mr Kumar said “after Mr Rahul Gandhi became AICC Chief, the Congress is trying to stall the Session without having any culture.”
“We were ready for discussion on Bank issue, Cauvery and the issue of special status to Andhara Pradesh but Congress was not ready for debate but only interested in stalling the Session for political mileage”.
Mr Kumar said that BJP MPs have decided not to take the 23 day sitting fee For the washed out Session.
He said that BJP will observe April 12 as protest day throughout the country. UNI
