DC chairs DLSC meeting

POONCH, APRIL 10: Deputy Commissioner, Mohammed Aijaz Asad, chaired a district Level Screening-cum-coordination committee (DLSC) meeting to discuss the benefits under SRO 43 related cross LOC shelling /militancy cases, here today.

During the meeting,   five cases were put up before the committee and after discussions the cases were considered  for job/ ex-gratia benefit under SRO 43.

The committee cleared a compassionate appointment of Mohammed Shakoor S/o Rehmatullah while recommending  two beneficiaries to General Administration Department (GAD) for  relaxation of rules/ reservation of seat.

Cash compensation of Rs 4 lakh each were sanctioned to Gulzar Bi, Mohammed Shabir and Shamim Akther in   militancy related death case.

In one case of permanent disability, an assistance of Rs 7500 as an ex-gratia was also sanctioned in favour of Mohammed Iqbal S/o Mohammed Bashir.

The meeting was attended by ADC, Dr. Bashrat Hussain, ASP Anwarul Haq, ACR Ashraf Chodhary, officers from 93 infantry brigade and 120 brigade B.G, representative from 15 battalion BSF and others.
