New Delhi, Apr 6: The Rajya Sabha was adjourned sine die on Friday after Chairman M Venkaiah
Naidu concluded the budget session and expressed anguish over the missed
opportunities to discuss and debate national issues.
Referring to the logjam that had paralysed functioning of the
House, he told members that 'all were losers including the Opposition and
Government' as he concluded the Budget session.
He chose to remind the MPs of their duties by appealing for their cooperation in allowing the House to run.
"I make an appeal to all of you to appear here next time to do what we were given to do at the time of
Independence," the Rajya Sabha Chairman said. UNI
