Jammu, May 14: Reviewing
the ongoing pace of work on the important project with in the heart of the city
of Temples, newly inducted Housing & Urban Development Minister in the
State of Jammu & Kashmir, Sat Sharma accompanied by Jammu East MLA and BJP
Chief Whip, Rajesh Gupta visited Jammu Bus Stand Multi storey parking to
inspect the relevant work.
The
Minister and the MLA were also accompanied by Financial Commissioner Secretary
K. B. Aggarwal, Vice-Chairman Jammu Development Authority (JDA) Rajesh Sarwan
and Jammu Municipal Commissioner (JMC) Ramesh Kumar.
While
inspecting the ongoing works, Minister Sat Sharma focussed on the quality of
the quality of the material and the workmanship in the construction of the
important project. He said that while it is is utmost important to see that the
project does not miss any deadline and start to cater to the people of Jammu
& Kashmir along with the countless number of tourists visiting the state,
it is also worthwhile to regular keep a check on the qualitative aspect of the
said project.
Sat Sharma
further said that no dilly dallying in any project will be welcomed in the
department concerned for any developmental project. He also said that as he
will ensure that all the major projects are completed within the time frame and
others are also initiated on the war foot to provide the best infrastructure to
the people of J&K.
Rajesh
Gupta also asked the authorities to keep a watch that the ongoing project does
not cause any inconvenience to the general masses including the business
community around the area. He said that he will himself ensure his regular
visits to the site to regular monitor the progress of the project. The MLA was
very much optimistic about the increased footfall of the visitors in the
adjacent markets after the completion of the project, which will result in the
increase in revenue of local small businesses.
