DC Doda reviews performance of RDD

DODA, JUNE 01:  District Development Commissioner   Bhawani Rakwal today chaired a meeting to review the performance of Rural Development department.

The DC reviewed the progress under schemes like MGNREGA, IAY/PMAY, SBM, 13th and 14th FC, CD Panchayat, water shed project (New and Old), SAGY, MPLADS, CDF and the Convergence plan being implemented by Rural Development Department in the district  .

The meeting was attended by ADDC Mohammad Hanief Malik, ACD Angrez Singh, AD Planning Waseem Raja, Xen REW Prem Kapoor, DPO Idrees Lone, BDOs, AEE Doda and Bhaderwah, AE, JE, TA, VLWs, MPW and all GRS of the district attended the meeting.

The DC reviewed block and Panchayat wise performance under PMAY and set the timelines for completion of all pending works, while directions were passed to expedite the pace of developmental works. He also took stock of physical and financial achievements under schemes of SBM and MGNREGA.

DDC directed the BDOs to accelerate the pace of work in their respective areas,   adopt innovative methods for effective implementation of schemes and involve people in the development process.
