2: As per General Manager District Industries Centre Leh,
Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC Leh Avny Lavasa who is also the Chairman
District Level Task Force (DLTFC) chaired a meeting of DLTFC to clear the
financial assistance cases of Khadi Village and Industries Board (KVIB) under
the Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP).
A total of 32 PMEGP
loan cases were placed before the DLTFC for consideration by the committee, out
of which 29 cases have been approved. The approved cases will generate
employment opportunity to local unemployed youths of the district.
The meeting was
convened by the Convener DLTFC/ General Manager, DIC Tsering Dolma and was also
attended by LEAD Bank Manager, SBI Leh Abdul Rashid, Zonal Head J&K Bank
Leh Tsewang Dorjey, District Officer KVIB G. M. Mir, Manager SC/ST Stanzin
Pasang, District Youth Coordinator NYK Tajammul Aara, and Superintendent ITI
Leh Abid Hussain.
