BJP State President visits home of Kargil Martyr

Jammu, July 26: On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, BJP State President Ravinder Raina (MLA) accompanied by BJP State General Secretary Yudhvir Sethi and other senior leaders paid a visit to the home of Kargil Martyr, Major Ajay Singh Jasrotia and met with his mother.

Remembering and recognizing the supreme sacrifice by the soldier of Indian Army, BJP State President presented Tricolour to the mother of martyr as token of respect.

Ravinder Raina said that the opportunity to serve the motherland is not available to everybody but only to a lucky few. And the person who sacrifices his life for the motherland is greater than anybody, he added while saying that the mother who gave birth to such brave-heart is really great. He said that the mother of the Martyr is just not his mother, but the mother of every son of Nation. He again and again bowed his head down in front of the mother in gratitude while the atmosphere got filled with emotions which rolled down from the eyes of all those present on the occasion. Such was the beauty of the act, that it inspires everybody to lay down their lives in the path of sacrifice, the real gateway to the heaven, he added.

BJP State President while exchanging numbers with her asked her to believe him to be at par with his son and prompted her to share her experiences with them. He also said that BJP always stands with the families of Indian Army and will be at forefront for any issue related to them.

Mother of Martyr Ajay Singh, overwhelmed with joy and emotions, accepted the love and affection shown by the BJP State President. She said that she is touched by the gesture shown and is proud to have a great son, who sacrificed his life to save the honour of motherland.

BJP District President Baldev Singh Billawaria, State Press Secretary Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Naresh Sharma, Ankush Gupta, Harbans Choudhary were among the prominent BJP leaders who accompanied the State President to the home of Kargil Martyr.
