DDC Pulwama visits Lassipora, inspects development works

PULWAMA, JULY 12: District Development Commissioner Pulwama, Ghulam Mohammad Dar, today conducted an extensive tour of Pulwama town and reviewed the progress of various ongoing developmental works.

During the tour DDC was accompanied by Joint Director Planning, ACR Pulwama, ACD Pulwama, SE PDD, Pulwama, and other officers from district administration.

During the tour, District Development Commissioner Pulwama, Ghulam Mohammad Dar visited Lassipora- Achan Road to inspect the ongoing macdamization of the road. It is pertinent to mention that the Lassipora- Achan Road which is about 9 km in length was a long pending demand of the local public.

While taking inspection of macdamization of Lassipora- Achan Road, DDC stressed the concerned agency for the use of quality material, so that roads will be remain durable.

Several delegations met the DDC during the tour and projected their issues, demands, and problems before him. DDC assured the public that the genuine issues will be solve on priority.

DDC also visited Lassipora Industrial Estate where he took stock of the facilities available for the various unit holders with respect to electricity and other facilities for the smooth functioning of the industrial estate. DDC directed the SE PDD that special attention should be given to the estate while distributing electricity so that this life line of district may work smoothly.
