JAMMU, JULY 09: Executive
Director/Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir State Social Welfare Board (JKSSWB), Dr
Khalid Hussain Malik today convened an introductory meeting with
representatives of non-Government Organizations (NGOs) affiliated with the
board.
Malik asked the
voluntary organizations to contribute whole heartedly in effective
implementation of the schemes run by JKSSWB. He appealed the Voluntary
Organizations to run the schemes as per the norms and keep all records
pertaining to schemes open for inspection as and when asked.
He desired that the
NGOs should evolve innovative methods to make their organizations viable.
Meanwhile,
the representatives of the NGOs informed the Executive Director about various
problems being faced by them. He assured the NGOs that their issues would be
taken up with higher authorities for early redress.
Executive Director clarified several queries raised by the
representatives of the NGOs. He also stressed upon the NGOs to work with
dedication and zeal so that the benefits of centrally sponsored schemes can
reach the deserving people of the State.
