Jammu, Oct 04: BJP’s State Management
Committee for Urban Local Bodies (ULB) elections held a review meeting at its
party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar.
The meeting
chaired by BJP State President Ravinder Raina (MLA). State President was also
accompanied by State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, State General
Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh and former Minister Sham Choudhary.
Ravinder
Raina, while addressing the meeting, said that the BJP has today won unopposed
seats in various regions of the state. He said that the BJP will also win the
maximum number of seats in ULB elections owing to the hard work by all the
leaders of party. He said that the senior most leaders of the party are moving
in every council and committee to win the elections. He said that the BJP has
done major development works and the leaders must take them to public mohalla
wise and locality wise to make a concentrated effort for ensuring the win.
Ashok Kaul
said that the ULB elections help in empowerment of common people, where he or
she has a direct approach to the Corporator for various development works. He
said that the elections will boost the development processes initiated by the
BJP at the Centre and the State.
Dr. Narinder
Singh discussed election related matters concerning the ULB elections with the
leaders. Threadbare discussions were held on the electioneering going on in
different wards. It was emphasized that all the senior leaders of the party
must put their efforts at the ground level to win maximum number of seats.
The meeting
was attended by State Vice-President Arun Gupta, MLC Vikram Randhawa, Charanjit
Singh Khalsa, State Secretaries Aseem Gupta, Ajay Pargal, State Spokespersons
Big. Anil Gupta, Balbir Ram Rattan, Arvind Gupta, Tilak Raj Gupta, Munish
sharma, S. Varinderjit Singh, Jaidev Rajwal, Sanjita Dogra, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra
and Hunar Gupta.
