LEH, APRIL 09: District Administration, the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Leh (LAHDC) Leh in association with Emporium Training Consultancy Private Limited Kolkata organized one-day walk in recruitment drive here at its Officers Club.
The representatives from Spice Jet Airlines and Hotel Oberoi Mumbai participated in the drive, where a total of 110 job aspirants appeared in the interview.
During the drive, The Oberoi Mumbai recruited 12 candidates for its various departments like food and beverage services, housekeeping and front office. The selected candidates were issued on spot offer letters along with the joining dates.
Likewise, Spice Jet shortlisted 11 female candidates for its cabin crew job role. The final round of the candidates will be conducted at Emporium Skill Centre in Jammu by the end of April.
For availing more of such opportunities, the aspiring unemployed youth are advised to visit District Employment and Counseling Centre LAHDC Leh.



JAMMU, NOVEMBER 20: Two days Mega recruitment cum training drive under Udaan to provide job opportunities to the students of the state got underway at Government Polytechnic College, here today.
About thirteen Udaan corporate partners including IISD, IL&FS, Mount Talent Consulting, Multicare Services Pvt Ltd, Rooman Technologies, S.E-Biz, Saha-e-Village, Suntech Info Solutions Pvt Ltd, VISPL, Maruti-Sazuki, Experts IT Pvt Ltd, Quess Corp Ltd are participating in the drive.
Pre-counseling placement session was also conducted for the students to give them exposure with regard to soft skills traits for interview. The selected candidates would be trained outside the state for minimum of three months, during which free accommodation, food, travelling charges, stipend of Rs. 2,500 per month, health insurance and training diploma by the NSDC would be provided
Er. ArunBangotra, Principal of the College welcomed the participants while Ajay Pal Singh Mobilisation Officer, Strategic Projects from NSDC and Rajesh Khajuria, Training & Placement Officer of the college made the logistic arrangements for the drive.

Er. Deepak Gupta, Er. Shorab Gupta, Er. P. K Angral, Er Sakshi Kapai and Er. Atul Sudan made all the necessary arrangement for smooth conduct of drive.
Dont fall prey to unscrupulous elements: PRB

 SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 21: Police Recruitment Board, which conducted written test for the post of constable to fill up more than 5300 vacant positions, has advised the candidates who have appeared in the test, not to fall prey to the unscrupulous elements who are reported to have emerged in various areas of the State and are trying to contact the candidates for monetary considerations. It has advised the candidates and the parents that the recruitment process will be completed in most transparent manner and selection will solely depend on the performance in the test.

The board has informed the candidates that it is uploading the answer keys on police website  www.jkpolice.gov.in  today so that they can check their answers. It also needs to be again clarified that the whole process is technology driven with latest human intervention.
          SRINAGAR, APRIL 29: According to the spokesman Police Recruitment Board (Cts), all those candidates of District Budgam who were scheduled to appear in the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) on April 29 for recruitment of constables in the J&K Police are informed that the tests have been postponed to May 2, 2017 due to bad weather conditions.

          The spokesman said that venue and timing as detailed out in candidates admit cards will remain same.
