RAMBAN, MARCH 15: To assess sector-wise physical and financial progress besides progress made in the implementation of Chief Minister Mehbooba Muftis directions passed during public outreach programme in October 2017, Member Legislative Assembly Ramban Neelam Kumar Langeh convened a meeting here today.
District Development Commissioner Tariq Hussain Ganai was present in the meeting.
ADC, Gurvinderjeet Singh, Chief Planning Officer, Uttam Singh, CMO, DFO Batote, XENs of   PMGSY, PWD and PHE, CHO, CAO, CAHO, CEO, besides various district and sectoral officers attended the meeting.
During the meeting MLA sought a detailed issue- wise latest action taken report on various decisions taken during CMs outreach programme and last District Development Board meeting.
It was informed in the meeting that work of water supply scheme Rajgrah, transformer bank Ramban is completed while works on circuit house, additional accommodation of Government Higher Secondary School and water filtration plant Ramban shall be completed soon
MLA called for effective coordination between district administration and peoples representatives while formulating developmental plans. He stressed upon early completion of projects where full funding has already been sanctioned.
He also reviewed the physical and financial status of various ongoing development projects in the district including JNV, KV, KVK, sports stadium and indoor stadium besides reviewing the preparations being made by departments regarding forthcoming District Development Board Meeting.
MLA was apprised that most of CMs directions have been implemented in letter and spirit on the ground and rest are in progress. 
He also directed the GAMMON company to restore the Maitra Road as early as possible and maintain national highway for convenience of commuters.
Earlier, the DDC briefed the meeting about the physical and financial progress achieved under different schemes in the district. He also presented sector-wise physical and financial progress under PHE, PDD, PWD, PMGSY, Education and Health, besides, schemes/programmes under MGNREGA, PMAY, Health, Education, Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry, Horticulture, agriculture sectors were also discussed in detail.


RAMBAN, AUGUST 31: Member Legislative Assembly, Ramban Neelam Kumar Langeh today inaugurated two water coolers here at Bus Stand and Main Market Court Road for the convenience of general public.The move was hailed by the people as water coolers would provide the much needed pure drinking water to them.
MLA was accompanied by Executive Engineer PHE, other officers and members of Bazaar Traders Association.
          Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that it was a long pending demand of Ramban town and today it is accomplished with an expenditure of Rs. 2 lakh under his Constituency Development Fund.

He said that providing basis facilities to residents of the state is a priority of the development agenda and the government has initiated various developmental projects to provide various facilities to the people at their doorsteps.

SNM volunteers donate 103 blood units
PATNITOP, JUNE 23: MLA Ramban, Mr. Neelam Langeh, today inaugurated blood donating camp organized by Sant Nirankari Mission (SNM) in collaboration with the Government Medical College Jammu and Department of Blood Transfusion.
          Appreciating the efforts of SNM volunteers for donating 103 units of blood, Mr. Neelam Langeh said that the volunteers are engaged in the noblest of activities by donating their blood to save human lives.
          He also appreciated the efforts of SNM for organizing such initiatives and said that that since 1986 as much as 9 lakh units of blood has been donated by the SNM missionaries through 5,544 Blood Donation Camps across India in the memory of Baba Gurbachan Singh, the third Saint of the SNM.

Retired Commissioner Punjab Niranjan Singh , Tehsildar Batote Srinath Suman, Zonal Incharge SNM Udhampur Vichitarpal Singh, Zonal Incharge  SNM Jammu Ajit Singh and various other prominent dignitaries also participated in the event.
