RAMBAN, MARCH 15: To assess sector-wise physical and financial
progress besides progress made in the implementation of Chief Minister Mehbooba
Mufti’s directions passed during public outreach
programme in October 2017, Member Legislative Assembly Ramban Neelam Kumar
Langeh convened a meeting here today.
District Development Commissioner Tariq Hussain
Ganai was present in the meeting.
ADC, Gurvinderjeet Singh, Chief Planning Officer,
Uttam Singh, CMO, DFO Batote, XENs of PMGSY,
PWD and PHE, CHO, CAO, CAHO, CEO, besides various district and sectoral
officers attended the meeting.
During the meeting MLA sought a detailed issue-
wise latest action taken report on various decisions taken during CM’s
outreach programme and last District Development Board meeting.
It was informed in the meeting that work of water
supply scheme Rajgrah, transformer bank Ramban is completed while works on
circuit house, additional accommodation of Government Higher Secondary School and
water filtration plant Ramban shall be completed soon
MLA called for effective coordination between
district administration and people’s representatives
while formulating developmental plans. He stressed upon early completion of
projects where full funding has already been sanctioned.
He also reviewed the physical and financial status
of various ongoing development projects in the district including JNV, KV, KVK,
sports stadium and indoor stadium besides reviewing the preparations being made
by departments regarding forthcoming District Development Board Meeting.
MLA was apprised that most of CM’s
directions have been implemented in letter and spirit on the ground and rest
are in progress.
He also directed the GAMMON company to restore the
Maitra Road as early as possible and maintain national highway for convenience
of commuters.
Earlier, the DDC briefed the meeting about the
physical and financial progress achieved under different schemes in the
district. He also presented sector-wise physical and financial progress under
PHE, PDD, PWD, PMGSY, Education and Health, besides, schemes/programmes under
MGNREGA, PMAY, Health, Education, Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry,
Horticulture, agriculture sectors were also discussed in detail.
