BANDIPORA,
JUNE 15: A scholarship
award ceremony was organized by District Youth Service and Sports Department
Bandipora here today in which District Development Commissioner Bandipora Sajad
Hussain was the chief guest.
The DDC
distributed cheques worth Rs. 69,750 and other kits among those 38 players who
had participated in 62nd National School Games 2016-17.
He
congratulated the organizers and expressed his satisfaction over the efforts of
YSS Department in promoting sports activities in the district. He hoped that
the Department will work with same zeal and zest in future also and inspire
students towards sports for their overall personality development.
DYSS officer, District
Social Welfare Officer, ISM Officer, Zonal Physical Education officers and
officials of YSS Department and students were present on the occasion.
