BANDIPORA, JUNE 15: In view of upcoming auspicious occasions
of Shab-e-Qadar, Jum'atul-Wida and Eid-ul-Fitr, a meeting of concerned
officers, LPG dealers and representatives of various trade unions was held
under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Khursheed
Ahmad Ganie, here today.
The meeting discussed
various issues and finalized arrangements being put in place by the district
administration for smooth conduct of the holy occasions.
The
meeting held threadbare discussions on issues like traffic jamming,
encroachment of footpaths, market checking, cleanliness and other issues
owing to huge rush of devotees expected to throng the major mosques and shrines
on these days.
The ADC stressed the officers
to make all possible arrangements available for the people in the district and
directed the officers to ensure smooth supply of ration, drinking water, LPG,
power, Medicare facilities during the holy days.
