‘Making of Developed India’ fest in Rajouri from June 16

RAJOURI, JUNE 14: District Administration Rajouri is celebrating "Making of Developed India Festival" at Government Higher Secondary School Rajouri from June 16th to 18th.

The festival will be inaugurated by District Development Commissioner, Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, at 09:00am, Friday, at GHSS Rajouri wherein an exhibition highlighting progress and achievements​ of different government departments will be held.

Departments have been directed by the DDC to showcase developmental works, highlighting achievements, and display material on awareness regarding development and welfare schemes.

There will be guidance sessions​by the experts on various State and Centrally Sponsored Schemes.

Focus will be on awareness sessions by resource persons on Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, DDUGJY, PMFBY, SBM, MGNREGA, PMAY, MIDH and other State and Centrally Sponsored Schemes.

Beside appealing general public to participate in 3-day festival, the DDC has instructed concerned officers to ensure presence of students, teachers, aanganwadi workers and PRI members.
