RAMBAN, JULY
04: District Development Commissioner Ramban, Tariq Hussain Ganai today
convened a meeting to review the physical and financial achievements registered
under various state and centrally sponsored schemes of health sector.
Chief Medical
Officer, Dr. Saif-u-Din Khan gave a resume of the functioning of the department
and informed the chair about ongoing construction works of health centers at
Ramban, Banihal, Batote and Gool.
lt was given
out that 123703 patients were treated and 1937 Micro and Minor surgeries, 31960
lab tests and 1553 Ultrasound were conducted besides 1064 deliveries have been recorded during the current financial year.
Stressing
upon concerned agencies to execute the ongoing works within stipulated time,
the DDC directed for strictly adhering on the specifications and use of quality
material for creation of durable assets of public utility. He directed the
concerned officers to expedite the work in order to ensure optimal utilization of funds.
Threadbare
discussions were held on many health care issues besides use of modern
technology at institutional levels. He stressed upon the officers to work
stringently and energetically to improve health sector and to motivate and
encourage doctors and paramedic staff in their respective blocks to provide quality
health care
The meeting
was attended by, ADDC Ravinder Nath Sadhu, CPO, Uttam Singh, , Medical
Superintendent, District Hospital Ramban, AD Planning, Dy.CMO, BMOs and other officers.
