SRINAGAR, AUGUST, 29: All State
Writers camp organized by Academy of Art Culture and Languages concluded at
Yusmarg Chrar-e-Sharief concluded today.
Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura was the chief gust on
the concluding day of the camp.
More than 25 writers and poets participated in the camp.
On the occasion, the Minister said that culture academy should conduct
these camps in future also so that the writers of the State would get
encouraged.
Hanjura said that State Government will provide all possible help to the
cultural academy to promote its activities.
He said the camp provides a platform for all the young participating
writers.
Secretary Cultural academy, Dr Aziz Hajni said that basic purpose of the
camp was to celebrate and strengthen cultural diversity of the State.
Renowned writer Farooq Nazki, Prof. Farooq Fayaz, Prakash Prami,
Chanchal Lal Dogra, Prof Mohammad Ramzan and others writers participated
in the 5-day camp.
Later, several books were released.
