POONCH, AUGUST 31: Deputy
Commissioner, Tariq Ahmed Zargar along with Executive Officer Municipal
Council, Executive Engineer of PHE & other officials of concerned
departments today visited Eidgah, Poonch to review the arrangements for
Eid-ul-Azha Prayers.
DC took stock of basic facilities being provided by the
concerned department with regard to sanitation, uninterrupted water & power
facilities & other civil works of cleanliness in & around the Eidgah.
During the visit, Deputy Commissioner issued on spot directions to the
concerned officers as well as to the field staff for ensuring proper sanitation
in and around Eidgah & Jamia Masjids where Eid prayers will be held . He
also called for cleanliness of lanes and bye lanes leading to all
mosques and spraying of lime.
Among others present were Auqaf administrator Poonch, En. Rayaz Atish,
Chairman and members of the Eidgah Committee.
