New Delhi, Aug 11 : Congress President Sonia Gandhi and key opposition leaders, including Mamata Banerjee of Trinamool Congress, are likely to hold a crucial meeting today to chalk out strategy for the united opposition. Leaders from RJD, NCP, JMM, DMK, National Conference, Samajwadi Party, BSP, RLD, JD-S, Kerala Congress, Indian Union of Muslim League and AIUDF are some of the parties that are expected to participate. According to sources, Congress leaders have sent feelers to senior JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav also to attend today's meeting. While Janata Dal (United) has advised senior party leader Mr Yadav to make his dissenting points at the party's national executive on August 19, the opposition camp hopes another rebel JD(U) MP Ali Anwar of Rajya Sabha is also likely to attend the meeting. Mr Sharad Yadav has criticised Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his tie-up with the BJP to form alternative government in the state. Ms Banerjee, who arrived here yesterday, has confirmed that she would attend the opposition leaders' meet. Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav, BSP chief Mayawati, NCP chief Sharad Pawar and CPI (M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury also are expected to attend the crucial meeting. UNI
