DDC Reasi convenes introductory meet with officers

       REASI, SEPTEMBER 26: District Development Commissioner, Prasanna Ramaswamy G convened an introductory meeting with district and sectoral officers, here today.

            Interacting with the officers, DDC asked the officers to improve public delivery system and work towards realizing good governance at door steps of people besides maintaining people friendly work culture in their offices.  

            He further directed the officers to ensure punctuality and attendance of staff in their offices which are the basic parameters to deliver public services efficiently. The officers were directed to make field visits frequently to ensure attendance in subordinate offices as well as on project sites to ensure quality of works and timely completion of the projects.

            The DDC stressed for participatory development and asked the officers to take people into confidence while formulating proposals and development plans. He said this would facilitate a need based and area specific development especially for far flung areas of the district.

            The field officers were also directed to spread awareness among the general masses about all welfare and development schemes launched by the centre as well as state government for socioeconomic development of farmers, women, children and weaker sections of the society.

            The DDC also stressed on mapping of all available physical, financial and human resources to make effective convergence of the working of various departments. He said that all targets should be achieved in a time bound manner without causing any delay besides cent percent utilization of the funds.

             Among other the meeting was attended by ADDC Ramesh Kumar, SSP, Tahir Bhat, ADC, Babu Ram, District Programme Officer, ACR Harbans Lal, CPO, DTO, CMO, CEO, DSWO, Tehsildars, XENs, representatives of construction company, Principals,  XENs, Tehsildars and other district offices.
