RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 26: Two days awareness campaign on 'Swachhta Hi Sewa' organized by Field Publicity Unit Rajouri, Poonch and Anantnag of the Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting today concluded here at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Nowshera.
SDM Nowshera, Abdul Sattar was the chief guest while Ashok Kumar Sharma, Principal GBHSS Nowshera was the guest of honour.
          Speaking on the occasion SDM appreciated the efforts of DFP in organizing awareness programmes in far flung and border areas and spreading awareness at the grassroot level about various centrally sponsored schemes. He said that in order to achieve the goals of Swachh Bharat Mission we need to change our mind set and everybody should contribute his part in the cleanliness drive.
​​          Incharge Field Publicity Officer Poonch, Sunil Kumar in his welcome address made people aware about the working of DFP and its aims and objectives of organizing such awareness programmes.
He enlightened the gathering that during the month of September Directorate of Field Publicity has organized similar Special Outreach Awareness Campaigns on ‘SWACHHTA HI SEWA’at Uri (Baramulla), Sarthal (Kishtwar) and Nowshera (Rajouri)
          Resource persons from various departments highlighted the objectives of Swachh Bharat Mission.

          Officers from Revenue, Municipality Committee, Rural Development, ICDS, Education, PHE and Police Department participated in the campaign and also updated people about the various schemes of respective departments.
