BARAMULLA, SEPTEMBER 05: Minister for Horticulture, Syed Basharat Bukhari, today convened a
meeting to review the arrangements being put in place for the annual Urs of
Hazrat Murad Din Bukhari (RA), which is being observed from September
8 to 15 at Kreeri, Baramulla.
District Development Commissioner, Dr Nasir Ahmad Naqash, SSP Mir
Imtiyaz Hussain, officers of various line Departments and members of the
concerned shrine committee attended the meeting.
During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held with respect to the
availability of essentials at the spot so that the devotees arriving in large
numbers at the shrine of the saint do not face any inconvenience.
The Minister directed the concerned authorities to ensure the adequate
supply of ration, adequate power and water supply, maintaining proper
sanitation in and around the shrine premises.
Moreover, the Minister directed the concerned BMO to ensure the medical
facility at the venue besides directed the R&B Department to repair all the
roads leading to the shrine so that hassle free movement of devotees is
ensured.
