SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 13: Governor N.N. Vohra and Mrs. Usha
Vohra, First Lady, hosted the participants and organizers of the “All India
Painters Camp” at the Raj Bhavan. This 5 day Camp was organized by the Jammu and
Kashmir Academy of Art Culture and Languages (JKAACL) at Chashma Shahi.
The paintings made by the artists who participated in this Camp were
displayed in the Raj Bhavan Lawns for viewing by all the invitees. Governor and
the First Lady evinced keen interest in paintings and complimented the artists.
Emphasising the importance of holding such Camps Governor observed that
the getting together of artists from various parts of the State and other parts
of India encouraged creative activities and, besides, promoted integration in
our vast country.

Dr. Aziz Hajini, Secretary JKAACL and his colleagues, the artists included Sh.
Vinod Sharma, Sh. Anil Gaikwad, Sh. Veer Munshi, Sh. Dilip Kumar, Sh. M.A.
Mehboob, Sh. Masood Hussain, Sh. Arshad Saleh, Sh. Shafi Chaman, Sh. Muneer
Khan, Sh. Sanjay Sharma, Ms. Milan Sharma, Sh. Satpal Deol, Sh. Ankush Kesar,
and Sh. Ghulam Mustafa.
