BBBP campaign concludes at Bandipora

BANDIPORA, OCTOBER 14: The week-long “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” (BBBP) campaign organised in Bandipora concluded today. The concluding function was held under the chairmanship of Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Bandipora, Massarat Hashim.

Brand ambassador for BBBP, Tajamul Islam, designated District Nodal Officer BBBP campaign, Javid Ahmad Rather, besides officers from various departments, health workers, Anganwari workers, ASHAs, helpers and students participated in the concluding function.

Speaking on the occasion, the ACR Bandipora appreciated the efforts of organisers who ensured carrying the campaign across the district in a successful manner. He also deliberated on the importance of a girl child and her education.

Earlier, the Designated District Nodal Officer briefed the occasion about all the activities held under the “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” campaign in the district.

Similar functions were organised at Border Sub-Division Gurez and Sonawari areas. SDM Gurez S.S Bali chaired the function at Gurez.
