DDC resolves confronting issues of construction companies

RAMBAN, OCTOBER 03- District Development Commissioner, Tariq Hussain Ganai, convened a meeting with revenue officers, engineers and representatives of construction agencies working on prestigious four laning project of NH-1A from Nashri to Jawaharlal tunnel  and Railways to discuss confronting issues.

The meeting was attended by, ADC,  Gurvinder Jit Singh, SDM Ramsoo, Viqar Giri, SDM Banihal, Vikas Verma, SDM Gool Pankaj Balsotra,  Tehsildars and representatives of the companies, AFCON,  IRCON Railway, Navayuga, Ramky, HCC, GAMMON India, NHAI besides other officers.

Taking into account importance of prestigious Railways and four lane work, DDC assured the companies engaged on job for removing all bottlenecks on National Highway and other construction sites. He discussed all the issues and passed on directions to concerned for timely redresal of the same.

DDC directed the construction companies to fulfill their social responsibilities in their respective working areas so that a rapport between public and companies is established and working atmosphere is made congenial for ensuring smooth progress of construction works.

DDC also directed the concerned authorities to ensure establishment of crash barriers and smooth passage of the traffic by maintaining potholes and drainages besides ensuring proper maintenance of NH1A at all crucial places.

ADC was asked to ensure completion of all assessment cases for avoiding unnecessary delay in national projects. Some issues were also resolved on the spot. He also exhorted upon the construction companies to provide employment to locals on priority basis.
