REASI, OCTOBER 3: Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated by J&K Khadi and
Village Industries Board at Reasi here today.
A large number of people, prominent citizens, children from Trikuta
Shiksha Niketan High School with Teacher and staff and beneficiaries of the
KVIB were present on the occasion.
District Officer KVIB Qasim Mohammad exhorted upon the participants to
follow the teachings and path shown by Gandhi ji for heralding peace and
tranquility in the region.
District Officer also spoke on the occasion and thanked the participants
for their participation in the function.
Rich tributes were paid to Gandhiji and gifts were also distributed
among the children and other participants.
