Mamata to preside over extended core committee meet today

Kolkata, Oct 25: Trinamool Congress Chairperson Mamata Banerjee is going to preside over a core committee meeting scheduled to be held today at Nazrul Mancha. All MPs, MLAs, district leaders up to the level of panchayat will be present at the meeting. The meeting gains special significance in view of the Panchayat election scheduled to be held next year. It may be mentioned that in the administrative review meetings held in different districts in the past six months, Ms Banerjee has repeatedly asked people’s representatives to build intense contact with the masses. In the recently held administrative review meeting in Jhargram on October 10, she instructed district leaders to cooperate with the administration in giving the best service to the people. UNI
