department has realized Rs 11700 fine during inspection and checking of
vehicles.
The checking squad comprising ARTO Shammi Sharma, MVI Vikas Srivats,
District Traffic Inspector Kesar Singh held nakas on different routes in the
district with special focus on bearing of seat belt, crash helmet and pollution
control.
During the course of checking over 200 vehicles were inspected, of which
94 were challaned/compounded for non bearing of crash helmet and seat belt. The
two wheeler riders and four wheeler drivers were also made aware about traffic
rules and their benefits.
