Oct 23: The West Bengal police raided different hideouts in the hills and
arrested two GJM leaders from Kalimpong last night for their alleged
involvement in destroying government properties during the Gorkhaland
agitation, police said today. GJM leader Ambar Bahadur Newar alias Dambar
Pradhan (43), who has been accused of setting the NBSTC office afire during the
agitation, was arrested from Kalimpong during a raid last night. Besides him,
Police also arrested Sunjit Tsamang of Monsong, Kalimpong, who was involved in
burning of the Monsong police camp during the agitation. The duo, the followers
of Gorkha Janmukti Morcha president Bimal Gurung, has been taken to a local
court for judicial production. UNI
