BARAMULLA, NOVEMBER 30: Minister for
Horticulture, Syed Basharat Bukhari today chaired a meeting here to review the
winter preparedness and the development scenario of the Sangrama constituency.
JD Planning, CMO and BMOs, EXEN R&B,
various district and sectoral officers attended the meeting.
The Minister took a comprehensive review of
the various development projects being undertaken by different departments in
the constituency. He directed the Health Department to conduct a survey to
bring out empirical facts about nature of health issues faced by people as
diagnosed in various health centres of the constituency. He directed the
Department to submit a report so that measures could be taken to provide
appropriate medical facilities in the concerned District and Sub-District
Hospitals and Primary Health Centres.
On the occasion, Bukhari allocated funds from
his CDF for upgrading basic infrastructure facilities in various hospitals and
Community Health Centres of the constituency for the convenience of the people.
He directed the concerned officers of the Health Department to ensure
availability of doctors and required human resource at all the Health Centres
of the constituency.
He further sought details from concerned
regarding deficiency of staff so that adequate steps could be initiated in this
regard.
