POONCH, NOVEMBER 21: District
Development Commissioner Tariq Ahmad Zargar today convened a meeting with the
officers and representatives of religiousorganizations to discuss the
arrangements for Eid-i-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) celebrations.
The District Development Commissioner took a detailed overview of the
arrangements being put in place by various departments for the devotees in the
district, especially in areas where the larger Milad programs & processions
will be held.
To ensure better traffic management District Development Commissioner
stressed upon ARTO& traffic Police to ensure proper management and
streamlining of traffic besides providing adequate public transport facilities
on the holy dayof Milad-un Nabi (SAW) to avoid inconveniences to the people.
He asked
PHE and PDD departments to ensure uninterrupted water and power supply while
FCS& CA department was directed to provide adequate supply of rice,
sugar, atta and kerosene to the people before the commencement of holy days,
The District Development Commissioner asked the Health department to
ensure adequate medicare facilities besides keeping ambulance with staff on the
day of Milad celebrations.
He also directed Municipal Committees to ensure proper sanitation and
cleanliness
The meeting was attended by ADC, Dr. Basharat Hussain ACR Ashraf
Chowdhary, AddlSP Anwarul- Haq,ARTO Abdul Rahim Mir, besides officers of
various departments.
