Hyderabad, Nov 29: The Global Entrepreneurship Summit entered the second day on Wednesday, with eminent women participants including US President Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump, participating in the plenary sessions, making a strong pitch for extending more help and support to women entrepreneurs and working women.
Participating in one of the plenary session, Ms.Ivanka said that more women were now working in private sector adding that if the private sector was encouraged more job opportunities for women would crop up.
She said that working women proved to be an asset to their families in terms of financial support. Working women should be ready to grab new opportunities , Ms.Trump added.
Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair's wife Cherie Blair said that there were fewer job opportunities for women in India adding that in countries like India, faster development was possible if women became partners. UNI
