Kopardi rape-murder: All convicts awarded death sentence

Pune, Nov 29: All three convicts in the Kopardi rape and murder case were awarded death sentence by a District and Sessions Court of Ahmednagar on Wednesday.

On July 13, 2016, a 15-year-old school girl belonging to Maratha community was brutally gangraped and murdered by the three causing outrage among the people across the nation.
The three sentenced were identified as Jitendra Babubal Shinde alias Pappu (21) Santosh Gorakh Bhaval (29) and Nitin Bhailume (28). UNI
