Jammu, Nov 17: Pakistani Army on Friday yet again fired unprovoked and violated the ceasefire agreement on the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
"Pakistani Army this morning at around 0745 hrs initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics and mortars in Degwar area of Poonch sector along the Line of Control (LC)," a defence spokesman here said. He said that Indian Army is retaliating strongly and effectively and the firing is still on. "No injury or damage has been reported so far in the firing," he said. Meanwhile, district administration has ordered closure of schools in the firing-hit areas as a preventive measure. Earlier on November 15, Pakistani Army shelled forward posts along the LoC in Poonch. UNI
