Additional District Development Commissioner, Ramesh Chander held a
meeting to discuss the action plan for Polio Immunization (IPPI) Round-1
campaign here today.
The meeting was
attended by ADC Babu Ram, PO ICDS Surinder Mohan, Chief Medical Officer Dr L.D.
Bhagat, DSWO Kulraj Singh, ARTO Shami Sharma, DHO Dr. Amit Bajaj, BMOs, CDPOs
and other officers and officials of health department.
Threadbare
discussion was held on man power and logistic requirements for Intensified
Pulse Polio Immunization program. The ADDC asked the doctors to ensure
cent percent coverage so that no child be left out unimmunized in the
district.
Earlier, it was
informed by CMO that the campaign is being launched on 28
of January through which a total number of 59948 children up to 5
years would be immunized for which 364 booths shall be set up and 18 transit
and 12 mobile teams have been constituted . He further informed that the
services of 79 supervisors, 1645 workers and 08 district monitors would be
utilized to complete the task.
It was also given
out that a cell has also been constituted for better
coordination during the campaign.
